What can you buy in the Languedoc?
Our properties range from 50,000€ up to over one million, so there will be something to suit you. Forget what you might have seen on the TV; here's a rough guide to what your money will buy in this area of France.
50 - 100,000€
It is still possible to find building land, a small property or barn in need of renovation from about 50.000€. Roofing is quick and easy to do, the walls are probably of stone about 2 feet thick, and therefore solid and strong. Timber beams are cheap and speedily replaced where necessary and for the keen DIYer the rest is up to you. Talk to us about renovation costs we have lots of experience.
100 - 150.000€
100.000€ can buy a ready to move into 2-3 bedroom village house, which may not need any decorating even and possibly with a courtyard, terrace or garden. Do not be put off by poor looking exteriors - inside may be a dream home.
150 - 350.000€
Moving up to between 150 - 350.000€, you can buy a medium to large house in good condition, with nice grounds or some land.
350 - 500.000€
Over 350.000€ will buy a large farmhouses with acres of land, possibly with vines or a large country house with private grounds and probably a swimming pool.
500,000€ +
A chateau perhaps or a working gîte complex!
