Stone house, gîte, barns, fabulous views

This lovely old farmhouse sits in half a hectare of land facing the mountain of Cardou. The views of the Pyrenees are spectacular. It is a five minute drive to Couiza a village with shops, restaurants, bars, banks, schools, and a post office. Rennes les Chateau is a ten minute drive. The layout of the house is interesting and built on several levels. On the ground floor a kitchen living area with an original fireplace and wood burner. There is also a large en suite bedroom a separate WC and a laundry room on this floor. Upstairs another good sized bedroom a bathroom separate WC and a huge room known as the 'dormitory' which currently has two double beds in it but could probably sleep 6. The house is joined to two barns currently used for storage and a workshop. Both could be developed to provide more accommodation if required.
