In the picturesque village of Sougraine just above the Roman Spa village of Rennes les Bains and a 2.5 km walk from the mysterious mountain of Bugarach a completely renovated and spacious old stone house.Through the entrance hall into the spacious living room with an attractive open fireplace. On the right a large fully equipped family kitchen opening out on to the south facing terrace. On this floor there are two more good sized rooms, one which is currently used as a laundry and linen room and the other as a breakfast room. The swimming pool is fenced has an alarm system and was installed about 8 years ago.Separately but not far away there are another five hectares of land comprising meadow and woodland. I was told that there was an 'ancient stone bergerie' in the woods.This village is about five minutes from Rennes les Bains which has several restaurants a general shop a couple of cafes a bakery and an epicerie. It is about twenty minutes from Couiza which has all amenities.This area is famous for its walking and equestrian activities and it is only an hour and a half from the Pyrenean ski resorts of Font Romeu and Les Angles.
